When deciding which rose fits into your garden, one thing should be important first: You must like the rose! A beautiful flower, the colour or the scent of a rose - at Agel Rosen you will find the right garden roses. Another criterion can be the height and shape of the plant. The roses are divided into Modern Roses and Historical Roses. Here the year of breeding and some characteristics are decisive.
Modern roses are divided into different growth forms: Dwarf roses and ground cover roses, as the name suggests, grow very low and ground cover roses in particular are very densely bushy.
Hybrid Tea roses and floribunda roses grow taller, with the Edelroses being more upright with long, single flowering shoots. Shrub rosesShrub roses need even more space to reach their height and width. Climbing rosesClimbing roses are suitable for climbing medium-high areas. Last but not least, Rambler roses require the most space and can sometimes even climb into large trees. Historical roses, on the other hand, are usually classified by origin. Here, the growth forms of the different species can differ. Well-known species are for example the Damascene roses, Gallicaroses or the simple Rugosaroses. Many rose varieties are also available as tree roses.
