Rambler is derived from the English term "ramble" and means "to wander around". Unlike modern climbing roses, historical Rambler roses usually only flower once a year.
However, they have a stronger growth and are the highest growing climbing roses (up to over 6 m). Large areas can be covered with well-known varieties such as Bobbie James.
