Buy Moss Roses (Colours: pink, purple, red)

Moss roses developed from a mutation of the centifoils. These roses got their name because their stems and flowers look as if they were covered with moss. This is an extraordinary property which is the attraction of this class of roses. In reality, it is a matter of leaf outgrowths and oil glands. Moss roses or Rosa muscosa have been known since the 17th century and have enjoyed great popularity since their appearance.

They exude a medium to strong resinous fragrance and bloom very richly. The varieties are also partly reflowering (reassembling) and offer compact growth. The shoots are covered with soft spines. The moss roses are sometimes very hardy, healthy and offer good winter hardiness.
