I have this in my USA garden and also on the Baltic Sea in Germany. Does well. Shows a tiny bit of blackspot, but fights it off very quickly. I don't spray. Grows 1.5 meters tall for me and blooms with thousands of flowers. Everyone is amazed at this rose. Self cleans but I sometimes help it along as it then looks kept in style. Love this rose!!! No problems with a cold winter.

Bonica ist unempfindlich, wächst buschig, erreicht die vorgegebene Höhe und ist ausgesprochen pflegeleicht! Empfehlenswert für Anfänger und halbschattige Lagen!
Und sie riecht doch .... ! Zarter, angenehnm fruchtiger Duft in Sonnenlagen! Frostunempfindlich!

Sie scheint eine Allerwelstrose zu sein, unspäktakulär und in öffentlichen Grünanlagen gerne eingesetzt.
Vielleicht ist sie das ja auch tatsächlich. Im Privatgarten ist sie eine grundsolide und gesunde Rose, nimmt wenig übel und kann vielseitig eingesetzt werden. Bei uns schmückt sie, mit blau-lila Stauden umpflanzt, das Ende eines langen Rosenbeetes. Schade, dass sie ohne Duft ist. Ihre Zuverlässigkeit und Robustheit gleichen diesen Mangel aber reichlich aus.
